We are pleased to inform that the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM) will be organising the 4th IBFIM Certification Conferment Ceremony (4th ICCC) on 25 February 2023 at Dewan Tun Abdul Razak, Bank Rakyat Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

The 4th ICCC will celebrate learners who have successfully completed IBFIM certifications since 2016. The ceremony is expecting to welcome more than 1,000 learners and guests and the ceremony shall be graced by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Daud Bakar, 2022 Royal Award in Islamic Finance recipient.

In conjunction with this ceremony, IBFIM will present two (2) special awards, namely IBFIM League of Excellence Awards (ILEAD) and IBFIM Outstanding Industry Collaboration Award (IOIC).

    IBFIM’s Reforestation Programme (IRP)

    The IRP is a sustainability event organise by IBFIM with the main objective to plant trees at selected forest reserves in Klang Valley tentatively in 2nd Quarter 2023

    Through IRP, IBFIM aims to reduce the carbon footprints in Klang Valley as the trees planted will help to absorb carbon dioxide continuously through their lifetime

    The programme is expected to be launched in Quarter 2, 2023**.

    • 3 trees will be planted on behalf of the Chengal sponsors at Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve** during the IRP launching. One of the trees will be tagged with the sponsors institution’s name.

    • 10 trees will be planted on behalf of the Chengal sponsors by IBFIM at Sungai Besi Forest Reserve**.

    10 trees will be planted on behalf of the Merbau sponsors by IBFIM at Sungai Besi Forest Reserve**.
